Eyelid tumors are quite common, especially in older dogs. If you notice the emergence of a mass on your pets eye you should always have it evaluated by a veterinarian. Most of these tumors are non-cancerous, but some can be cancerous. If they are causing irritation or discomfort to you pet removal is recommended.
